Before I fully embrace the New Year and turn my complete attention to 2015, I wanted to post one final wrap up of 2014. What a year! From becoming a contributing writer for Concrete Playground (my favourite feature being the Ten Best Bircher Mueslis in Brisbane) attending Melbourne Fashion Festival, joining the League of Extraordinary Women, finding new Brisbane gems and purchasing my first plant, spending 4 hours tapping the Uber app during the BEST campaign ever and being rewarded with Gelato Messina, enjoying all the wonderful foodie festivals of Paniyiri, Regional Flavours, the French Festival, the Good Food and Wine Show and July Good Food Month (including 3 visits to the Night Noodle Markets), finding new gems in Adelaide, feasting on market-fresh goodness, girly trips down the coast with Mum, lapping up the Harvest exhibition and Future Beauty at GOMA, attending the incredible ProBlogger Event swiftly followed by Eat Drink Blog, seeing Queen + Adam Lambert rock out in style, being cultural at the Brisbane Festival, getting sweaty at the Lorna Jane Active Nation Day, epic birthday celebrations at Mondo Organics and rubbing shoulders with Leandra Medine at RESORT James Street and soaking up the splendour at the 2014 AFL Party.
If I had to choose the highlights though, it would have to be a tie between scoring the Staycation of a lifetime and experiencing the Scenic Rim Trail by Spicers with my family as well as being named one of Queensland’s 50 Most Stylish for 2014.
Yep 2014 has been good to me. Thank you to everyone who helped make it what it was – from old friends, new friends and those I met along the way, it was certainly a year to remember. As I start the year afresh I am thankful for all that was and where it has led me. 2015 I’m ready for you.
Thanks for the memories…
I’d love to hear about your 2014!
